Five Tool Signings, LLC was founded in 2020 by Josh Mathews and looks to continue to grow as a top tier provider of quality autographs.

Mathews is a Richmond, Virginia native, avid Braves collector, autograph chaser, traveler, and life long fan of the game.

SIGNING UPDATES (last update 06/21/2026)

**REMEMBER: I make sure players are available in close proximity to the due date. Once the due date passes, I starting the scheduling process. I cannot predict a player's life/schedule. There will often be waits- most short, some longer. If you aren't okay with this, do not participate.

Real quick updates-

Dave Justice

1. TPA is being completed on our items soon. Once that happens, items will be returned to me, and then to customers.

2. There was a list of folks who's items didn't get signed- on the way back from vacation we had some travel issues and didn't get home when we expected to. So, we are going to get those items signed by Dave as soon as his schedule permits.

Cancelled signings- SEVERAL communications have been sent out, but in case you haven't seen them, Gary Matthews, Dan Uggla, Ender Inciarte and Neifi Perez were cancelled.These were all scheduled, LONG delayed, and I have gotten to the point where players outright don't want to/haven't communicated well enough to continue to wait.

Refund request information has been EMAILED TO YOU. There's also an inventory option.2. All items will be returned in customer's packaging by 6/24/26, however, the vast majority of items were returned on 6/14/2026.

For a private signing, we collect all items through the mail, organize them, and then present them to the player and oversee the signing process on behalf of our collector customers.

Collectors send in their items, along with return postage. After items are signed, they are returned to the customer in their own return packaging.

Where do I send my order? After placing your order, the mailing address for that signing will be included in your confirmation email.

labeling your items

All items will be removed from their original packaging in order to facilitate an efficient signing process, so your label must be directly on the item itself.

Cards, Photos, Tickets, and Other Flats

Write your name on a sticky note and affix it directly to the back of your item. You may also label your top loader or other case, but this is optional.

Baseballs, Baseball Bats, Helmets, and Other Non-Flats

Sticky notes have been known to fall off these items, so instead use a piece of painter’s tape to attach a piece of paper directly onto your item.

Signature or Inscription Placement

If you desire a specific placement for the player’s signature or inscription, designate that area by placing sticky notes or tape with directional arrows adjacent to the area.

pen & marker preferences

Unless otherwise noted, all items (excluding baseballs) will be signed with a Fine Blue Sharpie. Baseballs will be signed with a Blue ball point pen, unless a different pen is requested.

If you'd like a different color that what's standard, it must be labelled on the front of the card/flat, and somewhere easily seen on a bulky item.

We provide Fine and Ultra Fine Blue Sharpie, Medium and Fine Staedtler, Fine Gold and Fine Silver Deco, Fine Gold and Fine Silver Sharpie, Blue Zebra pens and black ball point pens. If you would like your item signed in a different marker or pen, include that in your package with your item. Any pens sent will NOT be returned.
